The Escape pads can also emulate an offensive player “holding” their opponents.  The Escape pads force the defensive players to strike with “inside hands” as the pads encapsulate their arms.  The large “wing pads” keep the players trapped or hemmed in, and then they must fight to “escape” the pads (i.e., hold).  There is a “Chest Plate” built into the pads for the players to grab handles or gain control.
